If using Propane/LPG, Brightstar Fires strongly recommends a 19kg propane tank with their fire pits for optimal performance. The Brightstar fire pits are designed to work with the larger tank, ensuring longer enjoyment times and steady heat.

For a perfect fit, we also suggest using Brightstar Fires' regulator. It's made and tested to work with their fire pits and 19kg screw-in propane tanks.

Gas Connection Options (For LPG and Natural Gas)

The flexible pipework runs between the centre of the burner and the control box.

Choose from two available lengths:

Standard Length - 575mm: Ideal for most fire pits up to 1.2 meters wide, at no extra cost.

Long Length - 1200mm: Recommended for fire pits larger than 1.2 meters wide, with an additional cost applicable (select this option at checkout).

If propane fuel is selected, the two control boxes are designed to feed two 19kg propane tanks. You will require two regulators..

Choosing the Right Size

For standard-sized fire pits, the 575mm option should suffice.

If your fire pit is larger than 1.2 meters, opt for the longer 1200mm connections.

If you would like both control boxes right next to each other in the fire pit structure, you’ll need to order with the long connections option, to provide enough length to allow this. 

IMPORTANT: Connections cannot be extended later, so select the right length from the outset.

Natural Gas Installations

Choose between the 20mm MDPE installation Kit or the 25 mm MDPE installation when connecting to a mains gas supply.

This will help you link your burner kit to the gas pipe. Consult with your gas engineer for the right size.
