Corten steel is the ideal material for fire pits; it is extremely long-lasting and a low-maintenance option, with no need to cover or store inside. Just clear up the cold ash after use and forget until the next time...
The Laterna is made from Corten steel which is almost pure carbon steel but processed to have a protective layer on the surface to make it weather-proof. The surface is originally reddish-brown, which becomes darker over time.
GrillSymbol uses Corten which is mined and produced in Finland.

The product must not be installed on a wooden surface as the fire pit will become hot from the bottom during the fire.
There are holes in the bottom of the fire pit from which small pieces of coal can fall.
The holes in the bottom act as drainage holes to prevent standing water from accumulating inside the fire pit.
Corten steel products can be stored outdoors all year round. Does not require storage.
