A full English on a Sunday morning, cooked outdoors over charcoal. Scallops seared in seconds with a smoky crust. A pile of king prawns with garlic and butter, straight off the plate and onto the table. The fire plate opens up a whole style of cooking that a grate alone can't touch.

This fire plate is compatible with both the Monolith Icon and the Monolith Junior. It turns either grill into a plancha with clearly defined heat zones. Sear directly over the embers in the centre, then move food outward to cook gently or rest.

The plate protrudes beyond the grill body, creating a natural temperature gradient from fierce heat in the middle to a gentle warm zone at the edges.

Temperature is regulated as normal using the top ventilation cap.

A built-in recess allows easy cleaning without removing the plate.

Loosen the hinge wing nuts, remove the ceramic lid and place the fire plate on your grill. We recommend seasoning before first use.
