Most portable barbecues are a compromise. They're light enough to move around, but they can't hold temperature, they burn through fuel, and the results taste like it.

The Monolith Icon is a portable ceramic grill that doesn't ask you to lower your expectations. At 35 kg with a stainless steel tabletop cradle, it sits on a balcony, terrace or camping table and delivers the same cooking performance as a full-sized kamado.

Grill, smoke, bake, sear or roast. The ceramic construction holds temperature with minimal fuel. 2.5 to 3 kg of charcoal is enough for up to 24 hours of low and slow cooking.

Remove the lid and fit the fire plate to create a 60 cm plancha or teppanyaki-style griddle.

A 2-way regulating valve and a cooking chamber thermometer give you precise control over the cook, and the ceramic shell keeps the outside surface temperature far lower than that of a steel grill.

German designed using high-grade ceramics and stainless steel. The ceramic shell retains heat so efficiently that the Icon uses 25 to 50% less charcoal than a conventional grill.

When you're finished, close the vents to kill the airflow. The charcoal stops burning and can be reused next time.

Cleaning is simple. Run the grill at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes.
