Swedish Fire Basket for Swedish Fire Log
The Cook King Pedro Swedish Fire Basket is specially designed for burning a Swedish Fire Log so If you're looking for something different, this could be the basket for you.
It is less open enabling smaller logs to be burnt and more protection from burning embers. The Swedish log is a log split partly way down and then set alight, this creates a long lasting flame that burns from the inside. Flames from a Swedish log can last 2 to 5 hours.
The basket has a steel mesh surround that helps protect you from burning embers, and sits on 3 sturdy legs.
The fire basket is made from durable steel which has a high temperature black powder coating to help prevent rust.

Please note that steel fire pits will show surface rust, especially if they are not covered during wet weather, but follow the basic maintenance laid out below and use a cover when not in use and your new fire pit will last for many many years.
Products can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly, grates should be coated with a thin layer of edible oil, repeating this step regularly to prevent rusting.
