The Gardeco Stove Paint Black is a high-quality, heat-resistant paint designed to touch or repainting metal chimeneas, stoves, BBQs, fire pits, and fire baskets.

This black paint can withstand temperatures up to 650 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for high-heat environments.

Directions for Use:

• Preparation: For optimal results, apply on bare metal. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust and grease. If repainting, prepare the existing surface to ensure the new paint adheres well. Test paint compatibility on a small area first.

• Application: After vigorously shaking the can for 2 minutes, spray from 300-375mm (12-15 inches) with steady, even strokes. Apply in a well-ventilated area, away from ignition sources. This one-coat paint should not be over-applied; if a second coat is necessary, apply it while the first coat is still wet.

• Drying and Curing: Ensure good ventilation during application, drying, and the initial heating. Start with kindling fires, gradually increasing to full fires, to properly cure the paint.

Important Notes:

• Not suitable for vitreous enamel surfaces or non-metal substrates.

• Avoid excessive application to prevent blistering.

• Clean the nozzle without inserting sharp objects into the can if it becomes blocked.

Safety Measures:

• Ensure the area is well-ventilated, and avoid spraying near open flames.

• Invert the can and spray briefly after use to clear the nozzle.
